Chemigrams
A chemigram is an experimental piece of art where an image is made by painting with chemicals on light-sensitive paper.
Pierre Cordier
Pierre Cordier (born 28 January 1933) is a Belgian artist who was the inventor of the Chemigram. Pierre Cordier descried the Chemigram as not a from or photograph or photogram. Pierre Cordier invented the Chemigram in 1956, and the chemigram combines the physics of painting (wax, oil, etc...) and the chemistry of photography (Photosensitive, Developer, Fixer); without a camera nor enlarger and in full light.
Some of his chemigrams include:
Process
To make a chemist ram you don't need complete darkness like a photograms. You start you applying chosen chemicals onto photographic paper, these chemicals could include things such as nail polish, oil, hand cream, ink, etc... Once you have applied your chosen chemicals place the photographic paper in sunlight for a few min, this makes an effect on the photographic paper and the chemicals as the paper is light sensitive. Then you place your chemigram in some developer, for about 30 seconds, or till however black you would like the background, then place it into the fixed for a minute or two. You could always place you chemigram in the fixer first then the developer to see what kind of different effect it has. Then just give your chemigram a rinse with water and wait for it to dry.

My response
Chemigram 1 (left hand side): the chemicals I used on this were 2 different colour nail polishes and oil
Chemigram 2: the chemicals I used on this were 2 different colour nail polishes and oil. In this chemigram I put it in the fixers first then the developer
Chemigram 3: the chemicals I used on this were 2 different colour nail polishes and oil
Chemigram 4: the chemicals I used on this were nail polish, oil, red ink, and jelly
